Photography

Hero photography on each page is attributed inline beneath the image. The full list:

Primary source: Unsplash License (attribution optional but included as good practice). Secondary: Wikimedia Commons under per-image licences (CC BY / CC BY-SA — author + source + licence link included).

Maps

All region maps on this site use data from OpenStreetMap contributors, used under the Open Database License. Maps are rendered through staticmap.openstreetmap.de or equivalent renderers.

Required attribution: "© OpenStreetMap contributors."

Editorial sources

Every factual claim on Moldova Guides cites a numbered source — operator pages first for practical/operational info (hours, prices, transport, booking), then official tourism sites (moldova.travel, visit.chisinau.md), then Wikipedia, then recent travel blogs. Cultural and historical claims invert that order. Full source log lives in the project's research notes.

See the About page for full editorial principles.
